Terms and Conditions for Bridgend and Vale Business Club:

Membership Eligibility:

Membership to the Bridgend and Vale Business Club is open to individuals who meet the criteria set forth by the club. Membership eligibility may vary and is subject to approval by the committee. Membership is associated with the individual and not the company.

Membership Fee:

Members are required to pay a one-time membership fee of £100, as determined by the committee. Additionally, members are obligated to pay monthly membership dues via direct debit. Failure to make timely payments may result in suspension or termination of membership.

Code of Conduct:

Members are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all club events and interactions. The club expects its members to adhere to a professional code of ethics, including honesty, integrity, respect, and confidentiality. Any behaviour deemed inappropriate or harmful to the club’s reputation may result in membership termination.

Confidentiality:

Members shall respect the confidentiality of information shared within the club network. Any breach of confidentiality may result in immediate termination of membership and legal action if deemed necessary.

Data Protection:

By becoming a member, individuals consent to the club collecting and processing personal data for the purposes of membership administration, communication, and networking activities. The club will handle personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and will not disclose personal information to third parties without explicit consent.

Networking Events:

The club organises various networking events, seminars, and workshops for the benefit of its members. Attendance at these events is encouraged, and members are expected to attend regularly. Failure to attend may affect membership status.

Sector/Business Type Limitation:

The Bridgend and Vale Business Club only allows one member per sector/business type to ensure diversity and prevent conflicts of interest. Prospective members must confirm the availability of membership within their sector/business type before applying.

Referrals and Contributions:

Members are expected to contribute to the club by passing referrals to fellow members and actively participating in networking activities. Contributions through referrals and attendance are essential for the growth and success of the club.

Intellectual Property:

Any materials, presentations, or intellectual property shared during club events remain the property of the respective owners. Members shall not reproduce or distribute such materials without prior consent.

Disclaimer:

The Bridgend and Vale Business Club and its committee are not liable for any losses, damages, or injuries incurred by members during club events or as a result of interactions with other members.

Termination of Membership:

The club reserves the right to terminate or suspend membership at any time for violation of these terms and conditions or for any other reason deemed necessary by the committee.

Amendments:

These terms and conditions may be amended or updated by the committee from time to time. Members will be notified of any changes, and continued membership implies acceptance of the revised terms.

By becoming a member of the Bridgend and Vale Business Club, individuals agree to abide by these terms and conditions and any rules or guidelines established by the committee. Membership is personal and not transferable to another individual or company.

Membership Guarantee:

BVBC is committed to delivering value to its members. If a member does not receive business or savings equivalent to the value of their membership fee within the membership period, BVBC will offer a full refund of the membership fee. This guarantee is subject to the member maintaining an attendance record of at least 80% at BVBC events and meetings during the membership term.
